10/08/13 - Fire Safety & Fire Prevention Exhibition
The tiger Den went to the Fire Safety & Fire Prevention Exhibition at Westmoreland Mall. They got to go inside police cars, ambulances, and check out a variety of tools. I think all of their favorite part was when they got to use the firehouse to spray off targets.
11/03/13 - Powdermill Nature Reserve
The environmental research center of Carnegie Museum of Natural History, has been dedicated to its mission of research, education, and conservation for more than 50 years. It is a place for scientists, for students, and for families who are interested in the natural world. The Powdermill bird migration research program is home to the one of the longest continually running bird banding stations in the United States. Powedermill Website
12/05/13 - Greensburg Holiday Parade
The holiday season is quickly approaching and the City of Greensburg would like to share the holiday spirit with you at the 22nd Annual Holiday Parade on Dec 5th, 2013 at 12 pm. What could be a more seasonal tradition to kick-off the holiday shopping season than Greensburg’s Holiday Parade? When you think of the holiday season and all of the shopping that comes with it, the Holiday Parade and Greensburg’s Shopping District comes to mind. Over 80 participants will be in the parade, including floats, dancers, bands, and much more. Parade will occur on Main Street in Greensburg.
